I have over 30 years’ experience in the Human Resources profession: ranging from in-house start-up HR functions for medium sized businesses, through an HR management career in global corporates and professional services organizations, and now as self-employed HR consultant advising SMEs.
Over the years my responsibilities have covered every area of HR: sensitive and complex employee cases, developing ‘best fit’ policies and processes, improving service levels, writing high quality employee documentation, structuring pay & benefits, managing recruitment and organisation change, and employee communications and consultation. I'm a learning and development specialist too.
I’ve also line managed teams both large and small, and appreciate firsthand the many challenges that leading and developing people brings.
I'm professionally qualified as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, and a qualified workplace mediator.
